A classically renowned vishaghna (anti-toxic) and anti-allergic tree, tridoshic in action. Used for allergic conditions, asthma, skin eruptions, urticaria and as an antidote in toxicology.

  • Rasa (taste): bitter, astringent, sweet
  • Virya (energy): heating
  • Vipaka (post-digestive): pungent
  • Guna (qualities): light, dry, sharp
