Whole-body herbal steam given in a steam chamber, a principal form of sudation that opens channels, mobilises doshas and relieves stiffness, usually after oleation.

What it involves
After abhyanga, the recipient sits in a steam box or tent (head kept outside and cool) while medicated herbal steam is applied until sweating begins; used as a standalone therapy or to prepare for purification.
