Barley–Vegetable Soup

Method

  1. Rinse barley; sauté vegetables briefly in oil with cumin.
  2. Add barley and liquid; simmer 35–40 minutes.
  3. Season with black pepper, salt, and parsley.
Agni note. Barley is the classical 'scraping' grain — light and drying, favored when heaviness and congestion dominate.
