The seasonal letter
Ayurveda's oldest practical instruction is that the year is not uniform. Six ritus, each with a dosha quietly gathering and another about to break — and a body that wants something different in the monsoon than it wants in late autumn. This letter follows that calendar: twenty-four issues, one per fortnight, and none of them a repeat of the last.
What arrives
Each issue names the ritu you are in and the dosha it provokes, then gets specific: a handful of things to do, a handful to ease off, the foods that suit the fortnight and the ones that don't, a practice or two, and a short note for each constitution — because the same season asks something different of a vata person and a kapha one.
Every issue also lives on this site as a page, so nothing is locked behind the mailing list. The letter simply arrives when the season turns instead of waiting for you to remember.
What is current
Issue 16, Varsha (monsoon) — Damp, and what it does to joints
The most common seasonal complaint there is, explained in the tradition's own terms, with the fortnight's practical response — and the point at which it stops being a seasonal ache.

Confirmed opt-in: nothing is sent to an address until somebody clicks the link in the confirmation mail, so you cannot be signed up by anyone but yourself. Every issue carries a one-click unsubscribe that works without a login and without a form. The list is never sold, rented or shared. And the whole thing is educational writing about a traditional system — it is not medical advice, and it does not know about your prescriptions.
