Method

  1. Simmer the apple with cloves, cinnamon, and water, covered, 8–10 minutes until soft.
  2. Remove the cloves.
  3. Eat warm, on its own, 20–30 minutes before anything heavier.
Agni note. Eaten first and alone, cooked fruit wakes digestion without burdening it.
