Ingredients
- 1 large apple, peeled and diced
- 2 whole cloves
- 1 pinch cinnamon
- 1/3 cup water
Method
- Simmer the apple with cloves, cinnamon, and water, covered, 8–10 minutes until soft.
- Remove the cloves.
- Eat warm, on its own, 20–30 minutes before anything heavier.
Agni note. Eaten first and alone, cooked fruit wakes digestion without burdening it.
Substitutions
